Snooze a target
Silence a target's alerts and digest entries during maintenance, for everyone in the workspace.
Snooze a target while you work on it — a SIEM upgrade, a rule migration, a planned outage — so that the expected failures do not page anyone.
A snooze is a maintenance window for the whole workspace: while a target is snoozed, no member and no destination is notified about it. Snoozing needs the owner or admin role.
Snooze a target
Open the target and choose Snooze notifications in its header:
- For 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days, or 1 week, or
- Custom… to pick the end time and add an optional reason (up to 200 characters). A snooze can last up to 90 days, and times are in your browser's timezone.
The target header shows Snoozed until time (hover it for the reason). A target has one snooze at a time; snoozing it again replaces the end time.

Changes are processed in batches a few minutes after they are recorded (see Immediate alerts), so the edges of a snooze are approximate: a change recorded just before the snooze starts can be dropped, and one recorded in its last minutes can still be notified after it ends. Start a snooze a few minutes before the work begins and let it run a few minutes past the end.
Dropped changes leave no entry in delivery history. They are still in the target's Activity and in its reports.
See and end snoozes
Active snoozes on Workspace → Notifications lists every snoozed target in the workspace, when its snooze ends, and who set it. To end one early, choose Clear there, or Clear snooze in the target's Snooze notifications menu.
Archiving a target also removes its snooze.
